Where should I ship my my camp setup?
To the most secure location possible. If you're residence isn't secure for an unsigned drop off by Fedex we highly recommend shipping to a Fedex location. (this will be an automated option at checkout). Your place of work is usually a secure location to ship to if that is an option for you. Camping in a location far from home? Most hotels will receive your camp setup as long as you notify the front desk.
How to track my camp setup?
You'll be given a tracking number with your confirmation email. Another email will be sent when your camp setup ships. With your name and order number you can track your camp setup here. (insert link). If you no longer have the emails or your order number you can contact us info@setupcamp.com and we'll respond within 24 hours.
Lost or damaged box?
Contact us info@setupcamp.com. Please provide your order number and we'll send the dimensions of your original box. This box can be purchased at any Fedex location.
Lost return label?
Contact us info@setupcamp.com with your name and order number. We'll send a new return label to be printed by you within 24 hours. Schedule a Fedex pickup instead of a Fedex facility? Call Fedex at 888-888-8888
Setup questions
How do I use my gear?
We highly recommend getting your gear out of the box and in your hands before your big adventure. Get to know it a little. Your camp setup will come with a waterproof book that has instructions for every piece of equipment in your setup. Make sure to include this book when you return your camp setup.
Do you have gear for dogs?
We have a few things for furry campers. Collapsable bowls for food and water, a light for a collar, etc. You'll be offered these items when your customizing your camp.
How do i keep my electronics charged?
Everything that has a battery will be fully charged when it leaves our facility. We highly recommend double checking that these items are fully charged before you leave for your adventure. Most electronics will last a couple days under normal use with a full charge. We do provide a back-up battery/solar charger with every "all the basics" camp setup. This battery holds more than enough power to charge your head lamp, tent fan, lantern, etc. as well as most smartphones 2 full charges. Leave this battery out in the sun during the day to have full power for your devices at night.
Do you provide fuel for cooking?
We are unable to ship compressed cooking fuel. Most grocery and hardware stores carry liquid propane cans for cooking.
Do you provide food?
We do offer a handful of dehydrated, easy to cook camping meals. You'll be offered these when customizing your camp setup.
Cleaning and Safety
How do you clean and disinfect your gear?
After we receive your returned camp setup we unpack everything. After everything is inspected for damage and given a surface cleaning. All hard surfaces get wiped thoroughly with Clorox wipes. All soft surfaces get sprayed with a specialized disinfectant used for gym and sports equipment
Ordering
How do the rental periods work?
Your rental period begins when your camp setup is delivered and ends at the end of business 7 days later. If your rental period ends on a Sunday you'll have till the end of business the following Monday to return your camp setup. Our rental periods are one week intervals. This gives you some extra time to get your gear out and get to know it a bit before your trip. More importantly, it gives you some extra time to get the gear packed up and returned after the adventure. If you miss your week window please reach out to us info@setupcamp.com and we will charge by the day until the order is returned. If you do not react out to us and return your camp setup you will be charged for another full week.
How far in advance should I place my order?
The sooner the better. We take orders up to 6 months in advance. The minimum to avoid a premium shipping fee would be 5 days before your camping adventure begins. Placing your order well in advance assures that we will have the items you need in stock and ready to ship.
